To help show our gratitude, we endeavor to be active in the community and do some good where we can, when we can. USGBC LEED Gold Certification

Because the welfare of our surrounding community depends on the environment in which it exists, we built our new, 330,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility according to the strict, environmentally-friendly LEED guidelines.  The United States Green Building Council awarded MBM one of its highest levels of certification--gold.  Learn below about some of the measures we took to earn this esteemed certification.

• Consistent adherence to an indoor air quality management plan throughout construction

• Over 70% of all office equipment and applicances ENERGY STAR certified

• 24% reduction in overall lighting density

• 36% reduction in water use

• 100% offset of energy costs with two-year renewable energy purchase

• Only non-VOC paints and coatings used

• Full-time use of daylight harvesting with photosensors and occupancy sensors

• 14% materials purchased have recycled content

• 60% materials purchased were regionally manufactured

Corporate Giving Program

Because of our unique relationship with Mercedes-Benz USA (as its sole product retailer in America), Mercedes-Benz Manhattan benefits from the Corporate Giving Program.  This program empowers Mercedes-Benz employees to give charitably; Mercedes-Benz matches a portion of employee donations to education, health, community, and arts organizations.

Annual Charity Golf Outing

Each year, Mercedes-Benz Manhattan holds a golf event for charity.  Past charities include the Children's Miracle Network and Musicians On Call. 

Laureus Foundation

Our partnership with the Laureus Foundation enables us to work with underpriveleged youth in our surrounding community, with the hope that such interaction will encourage beneficial change.
